Additional lane

What it means

To inform you by means of a diagram that the number of lanes of the road which you are travelling on will be increased soon. Opposing traffic flow is indicated by a dotted arrow

What you must do

Whenever a lane ends, converges, merges or is added, make sure in time that there is a big enough gap in the traffic to merge with the traffic. Also yield to other traffic, which might merge.
